From Overworked MSW to Internet Entrepreneur

"That's it, I quit!"
I'll never forget that day last December when I turned in my letter of resignation. I had been wanting to quit my ER social work job for a very long time. When I was finally able to resign it was as if a weight had lifted from the depths of my soul. No more 12 hour shifts without a break. No more abrasive comments from management. No more rush hour. I was finally able to leave behind all of the hassles I've come to associate with full time employment as a social worker.

I'm one of the lucky ones. I managed to get out of a bad work environment. I'm happier, healthier, and much better off working for myself from home. I've had several internet businesses for a while now. And they are doing well. Knowing how to make money online gave me options I never had before. Was it luck that allowed me to succeed online? No, it was sound advice from a wise instructor (Corey Rudl) who guided me down the path toward success online. The lucky part was finding such a teacher amid all the scams and con artists who claim to understand online business but really don't have a clue.

Equation for tragedy
I feel tremendous empathy for social workers who are trapped in jobs with heavy workloads and low salaries. I've been there, done that. I know how devastating it is when your employer works you so hard that you barely have the energy to drive home at the end of a shift. I know how discouraging it is to suffer burnout. I know how demoralizing it is when you never receive a bit of appreciation or recognition on the job. In short, I know all about the negative consequences that accompany many social work positions. It's a tragedy for individual social workers and for the profession when it boils down to the simple equation

too much work + too little pay = social work

Do you know what else is a tragedy? So many social workers have skills and ideas which could earn them a handsome online income. But they don't know how to apply their skills outside of a traditional social work setting. So they remain stuck in a bad work situation. With no hope for advancement or real financial stability, they settle for much less than they could have. How unfortunate!

"How do you do it?"
When I visit or talk to my former ER colleagues, they all ask the same thing. They want to know how to earn money online honestly, with integrity, and by using their basic social work skills. In short, they want to know how I did it. Such questions get me fired up and excited as I point out ways my colleagues can use their talents to escape the workplace insanity and work for themselves from home.

One former colleague of mine is presently developing material for a web site. I plan to feature her in an article after her site is up and running. I will give you the same advice that I gave her:

The internet is littered with scams and information overload about ways to start an internet business. To avoid paying money for worthless "how to" guides, I suggest to anyone who is serious about starting an online business that they purchase Corey Rudl's course called The Insider Secrets to Marketing Your Business on the Internet.

You wouldn't start a new career without taking a course, would you? Well the same goes for learning how to apply your social work skills to the internet. The single best resource out there for you to learn about ways to make money online is to get the Insider Secrets course from Corey. I first bought this course several years ago. I was so impressed with the material that I bought it again less than a year ago after it was revised. I'm never worried about buying from Corey because of his money-back guarantee. And for that reason, I'm also comfortable recommending his course to friends and colleagues.

Expert advice
I've read the works of an entire host of internet "experts." Is there anything written specifically for social workers who want to start an online business? Not that I've seen. Even so, Corey's course is single most helpful resource I've ever found. He taught me the basics of making money online in such a way that it was easy to take ideas and skills I have as a social worker and apply them to the internet.

Corey's one of the few people on the web who actually knows what he's talking about. I made that discovery when I started making money applying his techniques. (Don't embarrass me by asking about some other very worthless internet business products I bought over the years!) Corey's manuals are the ones I refer to over and over. His ideas are the ones which have made me the most money online. His techniques, in fact, have formed the foundation of most of my web sites. So if you're a social worker looking to start an honest, ethical business online, look no further. Just go to Corey's site and get his Insider Secrets course. You don't have to have any technical knowledge, you just need a desire to succeed and a willingness to study his materials.

If the cost of the course is beyond your budget, then my recommendation is that you sign up for Corey's free newsletter. Do this for two reasons: (1) You can start learning right away about the way online business works, and (2) Corey often offers substantial discounts on various products to his newsletter subscribers. If you are offered a discount on the Insider Secrets course through his newsletter, please jump on the opportunity! The course is worth much more than the asking price, but with a discount, it's a bargain you won't likely find anywhere else!

Freedom From Feeling Fried
If you're feeling overworked, underpaid, and worn out by your present social work duties, please know that you can earn money online. And you can do it using your social work skills and knowledge base. But to be successful you need some basic business guidance about the way online business works. Then you can apply your social work skills and the internet business savvy you learned from Corey to create your very own online business.

Best wishes for one day making the transition from overworked MSW to internet entrepreneur. If you decide to venture into online business, drop us a line.
